About the Artist
Gimbal Botanical Teas are offered as a means to bridge the gap between local sources of healing herbs and the health of our community.
I have been studying herbs and horticulture on my own and with local herbalist and farmers wherever I have lived in the past 8 years. Sitka has kept me for over 6 years now because of its proximity to rich wilderness. Here I can sustainably harvest and learn from many great healers of the plant kingdom.
Gimbal Teas are formulated to be great tasting preventative medicine. Herbs containing high quantities of vitamins and minerals that are water soluble are best consumed as tea. Nutrients are then easily assimilated into the body where they are most needed, toning and aiding the body in healthy normal functions. This naturally reduces stress and helps prevent internal conflict, a reliable health insurance.
All the herbs used to make these teas are ethically wild crafted or organically grown from primarily west coast growers. What I can harvest locally I do.
